Handyman At Your Command has handled interior painting from our Odenton office since 2008. We are a family-run company with a small crew of about four technicians. Jose, the owner, comes out himself to look at the job and give you a free estimate. Tracy answers the phone, and you talk to the same few people from first call to final coat.
The crew paints bedrooms, kitchens, stairways, basements and whole interiors. We also handle exterior painting for doors and trim, plus wallpaper installation for accent walls. Businesses use us for interior repaints of shops and offices. If a wall needs patching before paint, our drywall repair team fixes it first. The patch gets primed and painted over, so you never need a second contractor.

Most of a clean interior painting job happens before the lid comes off the can. The crew moves furniture and covers the floors with drop cloths. Trim and outlets get taped off. We fill nail holes and sand the rough spots, and stains get primed so they cannot bleed through. Then we cut in the edges by hand and roll the walls in even passes. Two coats is standard for a color change. The same technician stays on your job until the last coat is dry.
That prep is what people notice in the finished room. Shawn Graves (5 stars) wrote: "The painting services were meticulous from start to finish. Every edge was clean, every surface prepped properly, and the attention to detail really showed. They didn't rush the job." His is one of 27 Google reviews that hold us at a 5.0 rating. We do not rush, and we do not leave a mess behind. At the end of each day we bag the tape and wipe up any drips. Furniture goes back where it belongs.
Every paint job is priced on its own, so there is no flat rate to quote here. Room size and ceiling height set the starting point. Surface condition matters just as much. Peeling paint or water stains add prep hours, and prep is where the labor sits. A dark to light color change can take an extra coat. Paint grade counts too, since a washable kitchen paint costs more per gallon than a flat ceiling white. Painting the trim and ceiling in the same room adds time.
We quote in person instead of guessing over the phone. Jose comes out to measure the rooms and check the wall condition. You get a written estimate that lists the prep work and the paint. The number you approve is the number you pay. Sometimes a job uncovers a problem, like soft drywall under old paint. We show you and price the fix before we touch it. Call (877) 349-4632 any time. We answer around the clock, and Tracy will set up your free estimate.
Recent jobs show the range of the work. One bedroom got a two-tone repaint with pink wainscoting and a floral wallpaper install. Another customer had us paint the basement stairs. We repaint exterior doors and trim when the front of a house starts to look tired. On the commercial side, we repainted a shop wall and an orthodontist office. We even painted the welded letter sign on an apartment building. Our commercial handyman page covers how that work is scheduled and billed.
Our Odenton office covers Anne Arundel County and the nearby counties. The full list is on the service areas page. A second office handles the DC side of the region. We are licensed, bonded and insured, and the same family has run the company since 2008. Technicians like Hugo, Alexi and Rigoberto do the painting, and Jose prices every job himself. Call (877) 349-4632 for a free estimate on interior painting, exterior painting or wallpaper installation.
